ABOUT SAM CASSAR
Sam Cassar is a freelance architect and designer with a passion for creating spaces that feel distinct, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the people who use them.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Malta, Sam went on to complete a Master’s in Architecture at Kingston University London, where his studies focused on Self-Build Architecture - an approach that continues to shape his hands-on and detail-driven design philosophy.
His work spans architectural design and interiors, with a particular focus on creating spaces that are tailored rather than templated. Every project is approached as its own response to context, character, and function.
Alongside architecture and interiors, he has a strong interest in designing custom furniture, bespoke lighting, and landscape interventions, seeing these elements as an extension of the architectural language rather than an afterthought. This holistic approach allows each project to feel cohesive, layered, and uniquely resolved.
With a hands-on approach from concept through execution, Sam works closely with clients, makers, and collaborators to ensure every detail is considered and every idea is built with intention.
For Sam, architecture is not just about designing buildings - it’s about shaping experiences, creating atmosphere, and making spaces that feel as good as they look.
